Facebook Advocacy Page

For COM562 Persuasion for Professional Communicators, I spent the semester working on the Facebook advocacy page “Free the Pill,” with a focus on spreading information on women’s and reproductive rights.  The purpose of this project was to choose a current controversial topic, and curate news and media posts throughout the semester, utilizing different types of persuasive tools, such as the cognitive dissonance theory, elaboration likelihood model, and different message factors to do so.
